I remember when this first dropped like 2 years ago, nobody really had a clue what this shoe was based off of. Thanks to NikeSB.org cause now I KNOW… this shoe is a design by Nike’s Midwest rep Rob Sissi and is based off the Minnesota state bird, the loon. The loon as well is the bird seen on the $1 coin of Canada. This is what a loon looks like… so you can definitely see the ressemblance.
I just wanted to throw this out there cause perhaps not everybody saw it (or are new to the game) when it first came out. There are only about 29 pairs in existence in the world and there are no plans to release this shoe anytime soon…
